Will this course make me a professional home stager?
This course will teach you everything you need to help your sellers successfully stage their homes. As a real-estate professional, you offer this staging guidance as a free service, and save your clients the expense of hiring an additional professional. Actually, many professional home stagers have taken this course, and found it very useful.
This course does not cover individual business aspects of running a full-time staging business, such as storing and tracking staging inventory, and drawing up contracts with your clients.
How will taking this training benefit me?
In this course, you’ll get a solid foundation on the basics of home staging that will give you practical tools to guide your sellers to maximize the appeal of their home, spend the least amount of money in the process, and give them a better chance of getting the highest value for their sale. How long does the course take?
The live course is an eight-hour course; the same course, offered online, allows you to move at your own pace. Both forms of the course require you to take various quizzes and complete a final half-hour “open-book” test to receive the CSA designation.
Why does this course costs $99.00 and other staging courses can cost up to $4,000.00 and take up to three days to complete?
The course is designed for busy real estate professionals. With 25 years as an interior designer and 10 years as a teacher, I’ve created a condensed, no-frills home-staging course that gets results. It teaches you basic design concepts that are practical and valuable, so that sellers can make a house appealing to buyers.
Is this the accredited home staging specialist (AHS) designation course that was previously offered by Reality U?
This course, authored by Andy Capelluto, was originally distributed by Realty U, a California-based real-estate school, from 2006 until early 2010. It was a top-selling course and was the first home-staging course available online.
Since then, the course has been greatly expanded, updated for the current market, and is now offered online through the International School of Staging™ and also taught live through select real-estate schools throughout the country. The International School of Staging offers its own CSA (certified staging agent) designation, which we term a “Stagent®.” Over 5,000 busy real-estate professionals have taken this course.
